Product Description

U.S. Coins are a great way to own a piece of History. The United States minted the Walking Liberty Half Dollar coin from 1916 to 1947. The coin was designed by A.A. Weinman and features Miss Liberty draped in the American Flag on the obverse and a perched eagle on the reverse. The design of the coin was symbolic of a future of strength and prosperity for America. It is considered to be one of the most beautiful of all U.S. coins. (The design of Miss Liberty on this coin was later used in 1986 when the U.S. began minting the Silver Eagle Dollar coin.) The Walking Liberty Half Dollar coin was minted in 90 percent silver and is about 1 3/16 inches in diameter. Each coin contains just over one-third of an ounce of silver. These beautiful coins are very affordable at this price. They make great gifts to give to children or buy some for yourself just to stash away as a coin and silver investment.

The particular coins that we are offering here are Walking Liberty Half Dollars from the World War II era and are dated from the late 1930s through the 1940s. They will be mixed dates of our choice. These are circulated coins and are graded in very good (VG) or better condition.
